Our Gravel Lugged kit pairs heat-treated bamboo tubes with pre-formed aluminium lugs — the fastest route to a premium bamboo frame. The lugs slot the tubes into place, so you spend less time aligning and more time riding. The result is a stiff, comfortable gravel frame ready for any terrain.

Built for adventure: ample bottle, rack and mudguard mounts for long days and bikepacking. Bamboo's natural vibration damping smooths out rough trails for a ride that stays comfortable mile after mile. Compatible with all major groupsets — pair it with our Shimano GRX or Campagnolo Ekar parts packs.

Common Questions

Do I need special tools?

No power tools required. Basic hand tools: hacksaw, files, sandpaper, measuring tape, and a work surface. Everything else is in the kit.

What if I make a mistake?

Most mistakes are fixable. Epoxy can be sanded and re-applied. Bamboo is forgiving. If you're stuck, our community has seen every problem — someone will have the answer within hours.

What else do I need to complete the bike?

Fork, wheels, groupset, handlebars, saddle, and finishing components. We offer component packs with everything included, or source parts from any bike shop.

How strong is a bamboo frame?
