Tim van Woudenberg
Partner workshop · Amersfoort, the Netherlands
One weekend in London. Then a workshop of his own.
Tim saw our bamboo race bike at the Design Museum and built his first frame on a London weekend course in 2016.
Based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands

“Not strong enough? I've seen an 80-metre bamboo scaffold.”
Tim van Woudenberg, De Telegraaf (translated from Dutch)
How Tim got here.
In 2019 he trained with us in London and set up Bamboo Bicycle Club Amersfoort, an independent partner workshop. He teaches small groups to build their own frames, in Dutch.
He keeps pushing the craft. His own gravel bike uses a split-bamboo top tube.
On the record.
