Single speed build by @i_anya built over a 4 day workshop. Great #urbancommuter

Clean lines for city streets. Anya built this single speed over four days, and every choice says "urban commuter" in the most elegant way possible.

White painted lugs. It's a brave choice — shows every scuff, every lock scrape, every contact with reality. But against the natural bamboo tubes, it creates something that looks almost Scandinavian in its restraint. The white chain continues the theme. Even the silver polished bars gleam rather than shout.

Single speed makes sense in the city. No indexing to drift, no cables to stretch, no derailleur to catch on bike rack arms. Just one gear, chosen carefully for the terrain you know. London? Probably 42×16. Amsterdam? Something easier. The beauty is in the simplicity.

The geometry here is interesting — that lower top tube suggests a mixte influence, making for easier mounting in street clothes. This isn't a bike that demands lycra. It's built for real life: meetings, cafés, errands, nights out.

Behind the bike, that corten steel wall adds industrial warmth to the frame. It's the kind of backdrop you find in regenerated warehouse districts — exactly the neighbourhoods where this bike belongs.

Four days in the workshop, and Anya walked out with something that would cost thousands from a boutique framebuilder. More importantly, she walked out knowing exactly how it was made.

The city is waiting. This bike is ready. 🏙️
