We manufacture all the kit parts ourselves for improved longevity and bamboo compatibility.

44mm headtube compatible with 1 1/8", 1", 1.5" (tapered), and 1 1/4"
68mm BSA bottom bracket (English threaded)
27.2mm seat insert
Interchangeable modular dropouts: QR, single speed, geared hub, 12mm thru-axle
Direct and post mount disc mounts as standard
M5 inserts for bottle and rack mounts
Dropout mounts for pannier racks and mudguards
Internal cabling

Geometry

Our frame design is based on a compact frame allowing for good clearances and easily customised with components. Suitable for up to 32mm tyres with mudguard and rack mounting.

Common Questions

Do I need special tools?

No power tools required. Basic hand tools: hacksaw, files, sandpaper, measuring tape, and a work surface. Everything else is in the kit.

What if I make a mistake?

Most mistakes are fixable. Epoxy can be sanded and re-applied. Bamboo is forgiving. If you're stuck, our community has seen every problem — someone will have the answer within hours.

What else do I need to complete the bike?

Fork, wheels, groupset, handlebars, saddle, and finishing components. We offer component packs with everything included, or source parts from any bike shop.

How strong is a bamboo frame?
