Nice Gravel built by Adam. Built using our Gravel kit and GRX parts pack

Adam's gravel build, fresh from our kit and GRX parts pack. The backyard photo captures that post-completion satisfaction.

The lugs here have an olive-brown tone that complements the golden bamboo rather than contrasting with it. Subtle choice, effective result. The tan bar tape continues the warm palette.

GRX is Shimano's dedicated gravel groupset. The crankset, derailleurs, and brake levers visible here are designed specifically for mixed-terrain riding. Proper kit for a proper build.

The wooden fence and bark mulch suggest a California or Australian backyard — somewhere with mild winters and outdoor space for bike projects. The fallen leaves and bare branches put this in late autumn, probably right after completing the build.

Building a gravel bike from a kit means making choices about where you'll ride. The tyre clearance on this frame allows options. Start with road-ish rubber for faster surfaces, swap to knobby when the trails call. The frame handles whatever you mount.

That moment of photographing your finished build is part of the experience. Before the first dirt, before the first adventure, there's the appreciation of what you've made. Adam earned this moment. 🚲
