What made you decide to build a bamboo bike?

I love strange odd or different bikes and I love making things and let's be honest Bamboo bikes are just cool.

Did you enjoy building the bicycle from scratch and would you recommend the experience?

I absolutely enjoyed the build. I didn't rush it and it took me around 10 hours but I may have spent to much time getting the bamboo joints shaped just right I don't think its absolutely necessary to be that perfect but it's my bike built my way.

What did you find most difficult about your bike build?

Nothing was overly difficult about the build although wrapping the joints was a bit messy and they look let's say home made but it all part of the fun.

What was the easiest part of the build?

Setting up the jig as it was very well thought out and the instructions are brilliant as well.

What advice would you give to other bamboo bike builders and what would you improve if anything?

If you're considering building a Bamboo bike then go for it.

How would you describe the ride of your finished bike?

It rides great and is very comfortable but there is one problem everybody that sees it wants to talk about it or ride it. I own a few different types of bikes and this Bamboo bike gets more attention than any of the others.
