Deep snow, high mountains, brilliant sunshine. Andrzej's cyclocross build is bikepacking somewhere that makes most riders' "epic" rides look like commutes.

The photo is stunning: bike silhouetted against fresh snow, mountain peaks framing the horizon, the sun creating long shadows across untouched white. This isn't a road — there's no road. Just Andrzej, his bike, and terrain that would stop most expeditions.

The frame bag and saddlebag carry enough gear for self-sufficiency in conditions where help isn't coming. Fat tyres handle the snow, disc brakes work regardless of temperature, the bamboo frame absorbs the constant chatter of mixed terrain.

Cyclocross frames make excellent adventure bikes. The clearances handle conditions road bikes can't touch, the geometry balances carrying capacity with handling. Add bikepacking bags and you can go anywhere.

There's a particular type of cyclist who seeks conditions like this: not despite the difficulty but because of it. The harder it is to reach somewhere, the more meaningful the arrival.

Andrzej built a bike and took it to places that test everything. That's the point of making your own equipment — trusting it enough to push limits.

Snow, sun, summit. Absolutely epic. 🏔️
