New build by Gabriel,
Gabriel's new build at the seaside. Sky blue lugs against golden bamboo, beach stretching behind, perfect summer day.
That blue matches the sky and the sea beyond. Colour coordination that happens naturally when you choose components that reflect where you'll ride. The wooden promenade decking, the metal railings, the sandy beach — Gabriel brought the bike to its element.
The setting could be the French Atlantic coast, the Belgian shore, or the Netherlands. Flat land meeting water, the kind of terrain where a road bike with comfortable geometry excels. Long distances, steady pace, views that reward endurance.
Summer seaside cycling has its own character. Salt air on skin. Wind that helps one direction and challenges the other. The particular pleasure of riding alongside the edge of the land.
Gabriel built this frame and then took it to the beach. The workshop where it was made feels distant now — what matters is this moment, this light, this ride happening today.
Beaches and bikes go together surprisingly well. Gabriel seems to agree. 🏖️
