This is where the magic happens. The head tube junction — where top tube, down tube, and steerer all meet — is the most complex joint on any bicycle frame.
Our traditional kits combine bamboo tubes with flax fibre composite lugs. The natural linen fibres, set in bio-resin, create a material that's strong, workable, and environmentally sound. You can see the weave pattern in the finished lug, that distinctive herringbone texture.
The graphic on the down tube shows someone getting creative. Bold black brushstroke-style lettering against the natural bamboo — a personal touch that transforms a functional frame into something individual.
That Crossover fork at the bottom of the frame is designed for versatility. The logo visible on the steerer tube indicates a component choice that can handle road, light gravel, and everything between.
Workshop photos like this matter because they show the reality of frame building. Not every surface is perfectly smooth. Some tool marks remain. The lugs have character from the hand-layup process. This isn't factory production — it's craft.
The white backdrop suggests a proper documentation shot, probably taken just before final assembly. A moment to appreciate the frame itself before wheels and components transform it into a rideable bike. 🔍
