Vinay's Step-Through Bamboo Bike Build

Vinay built this over four days as part of our workshop. The design follows the Elephant Bike pattern — ideal for practical, everyday cycling.

That step-through frame makes mounting and dismounting easy. Useful for anyone carrying bags, wearing work clothes, or simply preferring convenience over tradition. The geometry prioritises access.

White paint creates a distinctive look against the modern urban backdrop. The rear rack adds cargo capability. This is a bike for getting things done, not just getting places.

Four-day workshops compress learning intensively. Vinay arrived with an idea; he left with skills and a finished bicycle. The pace is demanding but the results justify the effort.
