"Can I actually do this?"

Yes. Here's the whole build.

We guide you through every step — from choosing your bamboo to the final finish. The only thing you bring is old clothes you don't mind getting epoxy on.

    Questions

    Good to know

    Do I need any experience?

None at all. Around 95% of participants have never built anything like this before — we guide you through every step.

    Can I come with someone?

Yes — many people book with partners or friends. Group discounts are available for 3 or more.

Can I use Cycle to Work?

Yes. We're registered with all major providers, so you can typically save 25–39%.

    What do I leave with?

A complete frame ready for components. We can advise on, or supply, a groupset to finish the build.

    What should I bring?

Just yourself and old clothes you don't mind getting epoxy on. Tools, materials, safety kit, lunch, tea and coffee are all provided.

How long will the frame last?

With proper care, bamboo frames ride for years — we still have frames from our earliest workshops going strong. The material is independently tested too: Swansea University tested our bamboo to BS ISO 22157, recording a tensile strength of 84.34 MPa — comparable to steel. Our support doesn't end when you leave.

    How booking works

    Reserve your place

There's no instant checkout — every frame is built to your measurements, so we book you in personally. Email us and we'll take it from there.

    1. Email us for dates — tell us which workshop and frame type you'd like, and we'll send you the available weekends.
    2. We book you in — once a date suits you, we'll confirm your place.
    3. Complete our online form — we'll send you a short online form for your measurements and design preferences, so your frame is tailored to you.
    4. We arrange a call — before your build, we'll have a quick call to talk through your design and answer any questions.

Every price is all-in — materials, tools, tuition, lunch. Cycle to Work accepted.
