What made you decide to build a bamboo bike?
During the first lockdown in March, I used a friends (bike) and more or less immediately decided I wanted my own!
Did you enjoy building the bicycle from scratch and would you recommend the experience?
Yes absolutely! It’s a lot of fun and incredibly satisfying.
What did you find most difficult about your bike build?
Picking matching colours on the parts!
What was the easiest part of the build?
The instructions to build the frame are extremely useful and accurate, making that part of the build very smooth.
How would you describe the ride of your finished bike?
Genuinely fantastic but building the bike from scratch has given me the knowledge and confidence to make any needed adjustments to improve the ride by myself.
What would you improve about the build experience or your finished bike?
Nothing - The self build kit was clear and straight foreword. So far, no issues with the bike.
